I came to this dating site with a simple but exciting idea. Somewhere in the world there is a man whose story hasn't crossed mine yet, and perhaps one conversation is all it takes to change that. I want a relationship where friendship grows into attr

About me

I have a little theory that people are much more interesting when they stop trying to be consistent. We are allowed to have completely different sides to our personalities, aren't we? I can enjoy a challenging workout and then spend the rest of the evening doing absolutely nothing productive. I can get lost in a book, become ridiculously invested in a fictional character's problems, and still be very interested in what is happening in the real world. I work as a translator, which probably explains why I pay attention to words. But I have also noticed that people reveal quite a lot through the things they don't say. A tiny hesitation, an unexpected reaction, a joke that comes out at exactly the wrong moment. Sometimes those details tell a much better story than a perfectly prepared introduction. I like people who have something going on inside their heads. Not necessarily complicated people, just those who have opinions, strange little interests, unexpected questions and enough curiosity to occasionally change their minds. I enjoy conversations that start with something completely ordinary and somehow end with us discussing whether we would survive on a deserted island. I am still discovering plenty of things about myself, and I actually like that. I don't feel the need to have my entire future neatly arranged at this age. I have ambitions, interests and places I want to see, but I also want to leave room for experiences I haven't even imagined yet. So what am I doing on a dating site? I suppose I am curious whether somewhere among all these profiles there is a man whose way of thinking will genuinely surprise me. I am interested in a relationship that begins with real conversation, develops naturally and has enough warmth to become something meaningful. As for love, I don't think I could describe exactly what it should look like before meeting the person involved. That would be a little like reviewing a book before reading the first chapter. And I would much rather find out what happens next.

About my partner

I would like to meet a man who is capable of committing a very specific kind of crime. Stealing my attention. Not by making a dramatic entrance, showing off an expensive car or announcing that every woman he has ever met has fallen hopelessly in love with him. That would probably make me look for the nearest exit. I mean the kind of man who says something so unexpected that I forget what I was about to say. Someone whose personality makes me put my phone away because whatever is happening on the screen suddenly seems considerably less interesting. A man who can turn a simple conversation into the beginning of an adventure. And if he manages to make me laugh while doing it, I may have to report him to the authorities. For suspiciously effective charm. I have always liked the idea that attraction can begin with something completely unpredictable. Perhaps an unusual question. A clever observation. A funny disagreement about something neither of us should reasonably care about. Imagine two people meeting for the first time and somehow becoming involved in a passionate debate about whether it is acceptable to eat dessert before dinner. For the record, I believe adults should be allowed to make their own questionable decisions. Especially delicious ones. But beneath all that playful nonsense, I want to discover a man with genuine depth. Someone who has experienced enough of life to understand that people are rarely as simple as they first appear. Someone who doesn't rush to judge, who can recognize his own mistakes and who knows that confidence doesn't require pretending to be right about everything. I am attracted to a man who has direction in life. Not necessarily someone who has planned every year until retirement. That sounds exhausting, and I suspect life would immediately decide to interfere with such an ambitious schedule. I mean a man who has values, goals and the willingness to work toward things that matter to him. Someone who can dream without becoming disconnected from reality. I want to admire his determination, but I also want to see the softer side of his personality. The part that appears when he talks about someone he loves. When he notices that another person is uncomfortable. When he chooses kindness even though nobody would blame him for being indifferent. I find those moments far more revealing than impressive speeches. And when it comes to a relationship, I want something tha...
